Essentials for Organizing Therapy Materials

As someone who has never really taken the time to stay organized, I quickly realized that I was missing out on so many great activities that I had in my possession, yet had forgotten all about due to my therapy room being in a constant state of disarray…not to mention the nagging pile of *papers* that always seemed to grow taller by the minute. Despite lovingly referring to my speech room as “organized chaos” for the better part of three years, I finally had to admit that my lair bordered slightly more on the chaotic side…so I made a plan to make my resources as accessible as possible, to organize the stacks of papers, and to try my absolute hardest to keep it that way.

Photo Storage Boxes

These 4x6 photo boxes are perfect for storing cards, tiny objects, communication symbols, and more! I also love using them to make task boxes, complete with all the materials I need. They’re very portable too!

Binder Rings + Push Pin Hooks

Make a resource bulletin board! Store any laminated cards on a binder ring, and hang them on the board using push pin hooks. If you’d prefer to display materials on a whiteboard, magnetic hooks are a great option.

Zip Pouches

Desktop Organizer
