What’s Included
Module One
Focuses on the roles and responsibilities of a secondary SLP, and introduces the first phase in a structured approach to the school year.
Module Two
Explores the value in making connections with the IEP team, including teachers, related service providers, families, and the students we serve.
Module Three
Looks at identifying goal areas through formal and informal assessment, as well as creating goals and crafting a roadmap to dismissal.
Module Four
Teaches how to plan various sessions with secondary students, including themed therapy, student led therapy, and community based instruction.
Module Five
Discusses push-in therapy, including planning, collaborating with teachers, effective strategies for supporting students, and methods of data collection.
Module Six
Focuses on service delivery via consultation, preparing for dismissals. and tips to ensure a smooth transition in the the final phase of the school year.
