Each card has targets for the following goal areas:
- Generating declarative, imperative, exclamatory, and interrogative sentence types 
- Generating sentences using: conjunctions, verbs, adjectives, and prepositions 
- Describing, comparing, and contrasting objects in the photo 
- Completing analogies and explaining word relationships 
- Completing similes using ‘like’ or ‘as’ 
- Explaining the meaning of idioms and common phrases (i.e. "let the cat out of the bag") 
- Explaining the meaning of multiple meaning words (i.e. paws vs. pause)
