This NO PREP 56-page resource includes tons of visuals for describing that are organized by OBJECTS, PLACES, and ACTIONS. These visuals include prompts for a variety of descriptive features (category, function, location, etc.), as well as visuals that describe many of those features, provide sentence frames, and give examples.
There are also (13) practice pages for each individual feature so that students may practice telling the parts, category, function, etc., making comparisons, or using adjectives/adverbs.
Thirty (30) practice pages with real photos, visual prompts, and a space for writing a response are included for describing objects, places, and actions (10 of each).
This digital resource was designed for older speech and language students who are practicing their describing skills. It is great for introducing the concept of describing as well as supporting students who are ready to take the next step and apply the skill to their writing.
