Winter Themed Conjunctions Packet for Speech and Language Therapy

This resource includes 24 worksheets with colorful, real photos related to winter (i.e. shoveling snow, ice fishing, sledding, etc.) that students can use to practice identifying conjunctions, joining thoughts & ideas, and creating sentences that demonstrate various relationships.

Four visuals are also included, one for each group of conjunctions: time, reason, condition, and contrast. These visuals include symbols and examples to aid in the understanding of each conjunction in the context of a sentence.

This packet was made with middle school speech and language students in mind (grades 5-8); however, it would also be appropriate for upper elementary or high school students, learning support classrooms, reading specialists, and/or language arts classes. These pages can be printed as no-prep worksheets, used as a digital PDF, shared with families for homework, and/or used as an informal assessment or progress monitoring tool!
